Pass-through cabinets, commonly referred to pass-through chambers or pass-through windows, allow for the secure transfer of parts, materials and equipment in and out of a cleanroom environment. Cleanroom pass-through cabinets are used across a variety of industries where the chance for contamination is present, such as:
CleanZones manufactures both standard and custom of pass-through cabinets to meet your functional needs. Different configurations include:
The PTW Series is designed to be mounted within the wall of a cleanroom. These units enable finished solutions, parts, tools and other objects to be passed to the cleanroom or pharmacy preparation room. Additionally, the mechanical interlock prevents both doors from being open at the same time — blocking airborne contaminates from entering the room or the risk of pressure loss within the cleanroom.
Developed to move large items or quantities of products in and out of a cleanroom, CleanZones offers the Cart Pass-Through Cabinet (CPTW) Series which that are designed to be mounted on the floor. These units do not have a bottom layer, allowing carts to easily roll in and out of a cleanroom. The mechanical interlock prevents both doors from being opened at the same time, preventing airborne contaminates from entering the room or a loss of pressure within the cleanroom. Electrical interlocks are also available.
